What This Role Typically Involves
- Installing residential and commercial ductwork
- Completing takeoffs, measurements, and layout on site
- Fitting and adjusting ductwork to existing mechanical spaces
- Installing boots, grills, returns, and ventilation components
- Ensuring proper airflow and system performance
- Working alongside HVAC installers, insulators, and multi-trade technicians
- Maintaining clean workmanship and following safety procedures
What We Look For in This Role
- Experience with field ductwork installation
- Strong attention to detail and clean workmanship
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and measurements
- Comfortable working in both residential and commercial environments
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and respectful
Requirements
- Field sheet metal or ductwork installation experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift, carry, and work with tools and materials
- Understanding of airflow, fittings, and ductwork components
- Apprenticeship or ticket is an asset but not required
- Safety certifications (or willingness to obtain them)
